He thought I couldn’t see
how his foot rubbed against her leg under the table.
He thought I couldn’t see
how they looked at each other.
I saw all, said nothing.
And that is how it will stay,
until…
just until…

… I decide whether or not
it would serve any purpose
revealing their secret
to their respective spouses.
