A Poem for Jane (upon the occasion of our second adversary)

I couldn’t ‘not’ reblog 🙂

Graeme Sandford

A Poem for Jane

You told my heart

you’d steal it

and you did.

You sought to hide

but, seek you did.

You said words mattered

and wrote upon my soul

you did.

You captured my mind

and wondered at the vast, empty space,

laughing at this, you did.

You now hold my soul

in your hands

cupped to protect every single drop

You do.

And I am so glad that you do.

I love you

for all you do

and all you did

from the bottom of my blood-pumping organ (my heart!!!!!)

and the realm of my id.

Thank you for the first two years. G;).
